Now, they raise money with a hockey tournament for the foundation, which provides scholarships, funding to send kids to camp and grief education for parents who have lost children.  Mara Navaretta said she and her husband became affiliate leaders and grief educators through the Helping Parents Heal nonprofit after meeting David Kessler, a grief expert.
